Designed by Revuelta Architecture International, with interiors by the award-winning team at ODA New York, this building will offer 105 condominiums and garden villas. These range from one to four bedrooms and span 1,200 to 2,100 square feet. Ortega Construction Company is the general contractor, with completion slated for 2026.

The upcoming groundbreaking will be made possible with a $95 million construction loan from Banco Inbursa to fund the sold-out tower’s development at 600 Northeast 1st Avenue. The 31-story 600 Miami Worldcenter (600 MWC) has reached a significant development milestone, with the developers securing a utility agreement from Miami-Dade’s Water and Sewer Department. This agreement is essential for providing services to the building, marking notable progress in this pre-construction phase of the project. Designed by Revuelta Architecture International and featuring interiors by Designagency, the development is a joint venture between Aria Development and Merrimac Ventures under the 55 NE 6TH ACQUISITION LLC. The 327-foot-tall structure is set to rise at 600 Northeast 1st Avenue, bordered by Northeast 6th Street to the south and train tracks to the north. OneWorld Properties is exclusively managing sales and marketing for the project. Miami’s Urban Development Review Board recommended approval for 600 MWC in July.

The construction financing was provided by Bank OZK, represented by King & Spalding. Hunton Andrews Kurth and The Aztec Group represented the developers. 2200 Brickell is slated to break ground in Q4 2023 with Ortega Construction Company as the general contractor.

The successful execution of this momentous milestone was a collaborative effort involving general contractor Beauchamp Construction, alongside the project’s shell contractor, JGR Construction, concrete contractor, US American Concrete, and concrete materials from Titan America. This tremendous endeavor spanned an impressive 10 hours, commencing on Friday, June 30, at midnight. A continuous rotation of 170 cement trucks meticulously laid an astounding 1,700 cubic yards of concrete, signifying an exhilarating advancement in the construction progress.

Developers Acquire Last Miami Worldcenter Development Site For 600+ Unit Condo Project

A joint venture between Miami-based Aria Development Group and Fort Lauderdale-based Merrimac Ventures has acquired the last remaining parcels of land at the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter mixed-use district in Downtown Miami. The 34,800-square-foot assemblage includes a 24,000-square-foot site at 33, 45, and 55 Northwest 6th Street known as The Miami Link, acquired from I L A Employers Welfare Fund SE FL Ports Inc. (International Longshoremen’s Association) for $11 million, and a 10,800-square-foot-site at 600 Northeast 1st Avenue, acquired from Miami SPE LLC for $6.5 million, bringing the total acquisition cost to $17.5 million. The developers are planning a residential condominium tower with over 600 units across as many as 32 floors. Revuelta Architecture International is the design architect, and The Design Agency is handing interior design.

Designed by renown architect Revuelta Architecture International with interiors by Shim Projects, the development is located at 501 Northeast 1st Avenue, at the south-western corner of the interior lot including the addresses 121 NE 5th St. and 515 NW 2st Ave. The tower is expected to yield 393,912 square feet, including 448 fully furnished luxury residential units and 3,127 square feet of commercial space.
