Miami’s Building Department Issues Demolition Permit To Developers For Casa Bella Site In Downtown Miami

On January 30, Miami’s Building Department approved a permit to demolish a 3-story office building located at 1400 Biscayne Boulevard. This demolition will clear the way for constructing Casa Bella by B&B Italia, a 55-story luxury residential condo tower designed by world-renowned architecture firm Arquitectonica, with interiors being designed by Piero Lissoni. The scope of work, estimated to cost $800,000, will involve the clearance of 249,978 square feet, and BG Group has been contracted as the demolition contractor.

New renderings have been released for Rivage, a planned 275-foot residential building at 10245 Collins Avenue in the village of Bal Harbour, Florida. Designed by Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill (SOM) with interiors by Rottet Studio and developed by a joint venture partnership between the Related Group, Two Roads Development, and Rockpoint, the 24-story tower will comprise 61 residential units and over 25,000 square feet of amenities. Developers Acquire Last Miami Worldcenter Development Site For 600+ Unit Condo Project

A joint venture between Miami-based Aria Development Group and Fort Lauderdale-based Merrimac Ventures has acquired the last remaining parcels of land at the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter mixed-use district in Downtown Miami. The 34,800-square-foot assemblage includes a 24,000-square-foot site at 33, 45, and 55 Northwest 6th Street known as The Miami Link, acquired from I L A Employers Welfare Fund SE FL Ports Inc. (International Longshoremen’s Association) for $11 million, and a 10,800-square-foot-site at 600 Northeast 1st Avenue, acquired from Miami SPE LLC for $6.5 million, bringing the total acquisition cost to $17.5 million. The developers are planning a residential condominium tower with over 600 units across as many as 32 floors. Revuelta Architecture International is the design architect, and The Design Agency is handing interior design.

New Construction Permits Filed For 55-Story Casa Bella With Coastal Construction As The General Contractor

New construction permits have been filed for Casa Bella by B&B Italia, a 55-story residential condominium building planned for 1400 Biscayne Boulevard in the northern section of Miami’s downtown corridor, just south of Edgewater. Designed by Arquitectonica with landscape architecture from Enzo Enea and developed between real estate developers Related Group and Alta Developers, the 648-foot-tall development will comprise 312 luxury residential units ranging from one to four bedrooms sized between 711 to 2,187 square feet, including select marquee penthouses ranging from 2,605 to 5,890 square feet. Units will feature stunningly-designed interiors by Lissoni New York in collaboration with high-end Italian furniture company B&B Italia. Coastal Construction is listed as the general contractor.
