Ytech Commences Demolition of Site For The Residences at 1428 Brickell

Miami-based real estate development firm Ytech has begun the demolition of the existing structure at 1428 Brickell Avenue, marking the first step in the development of the 70-story luxury high-rise condominium, The Residences at 1428 Brickell. Ytech, having acquired this now-vacant property in January 2017, is replacing what was once a 100,000-square-foot office space. The demolition is being conducted by John Moriarty & Associates (JMA), a renowned construction team. This pivotal step in the project, which features design by Arquitectonica, interiors by ACPV Architects, and landscaping by Arquitectonica GEO, is significant in realizing The Residences at 1428 Brickell. This development adds to Ytech’s momentum in the real estate sector following the recent approval of 75 Broadway by Miami’s Planning & Zoning department.

Ytech Announces 70-Story First-Ever Solar-Powered High-Rise ‘The Residences At 1428 Brickell’

Miami-based real estate development firm Ytech, led by Yamal Yidios, has announced The Residences at 1428 Brickell, a 70-story luxury condominium development planned for 1428 Brickell Avenue in Miami’s Brickell Financial District. Designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Italian architecture firm ACPV ARCHITECTS, the building will be the first-ever high-rise residential tower using solar energy, comprised of a limited collection of 189 fully-finished residences with two- to four-bedroom plus den units ranging from 1,800 to 4,000 square feet, and a penthouse collection of units ranging from 4,000 to 10,000 square feet. John Moriarty Associates, one of the country’s most prolific luxury condominium builders, has been selected as the general contractor. The award-winning engineering firm Cosentini Associates has been chosen as the property’s expert solar energy consultant. Cervera Real Estate serves as the sales team representing the property.

Located across from Brickell City Centre, at the junction of South Miami Avenue and Southwest 7th Street, the 1.62-acre site will give rise to an estimated 481-foot-tall building designed by Arquitectonica with landscape architecture by Urban Robot Associates, yielding 364 fully-finished and furnished residences with curated interiors by INC and 40,000 square feet of amenities. Newgard Development Group is the developer, who has on-boarded Cervera Real Estate as the exclusive sales and marketing firm. Units will come in studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans as well as penthouses, priced from $493,000 to $1.3 million, and will offer owners flexible home-sharing options.
